Welcome to my lair. bwhahaha. Hi.
Going to be gone..
two weekends in a row ._. Tomorrow I have to wake up at 6, go with my parents to pick up my sister from the airport, and then leave for Iowa around noon. My Grandpa's funeral is Saturday and the wake is Friday so that will take up just about the whole weekend. I was initially going to be a pallbearer, but instead my uncle choose to have all the youngest kids in the separate families be gift-bearers. So that would include me. Next week is my sister's graduation so I'm going to be in California from friday to monday, and I plan on getting a PSP before leaving to keep me busy. Laura Bush is speaking at the Pepperdine Graduation Ceremony; that will be very funny. And I get to see Kyle! It's been a few months since I've last seen him so this will be awesome. They're staying at the same hotel as us which pwns. Speaking of which, I still need to buy him his delayed birthday present.. Ah, sweet weekends, I will miss you.

Work
I started working at Cub Foods on Wednesday, and I've done about 15 hours so far, I think. ...Getting carts sucks. I'm on "Clean Team" whose duties are every hour alternating between getting carts and doing grunt work (facing shelves, throwing out garbage, cleaning stuff). But, today, there was so many people that I had to spend 3 hours in a row doing carts and then another 2 doing it again. The cart machine really helps though. It's like Fun on wheels. Haven't hit any people/cars yet so I'm good. Oh god, today someone spilled a whole bottle of Vinegar in the Organic Foods section and I had to clean it up. I don't think I did that great of a job though because the vinegar got in my mop water and made it so I was mopping vinegar with more vinegar. My only solace is knowing that I at least diluted it. And it still smelled of vinegar when I left XD Now it's time to sit down and play Gun or Prince of Persia.. life is good.

The Candyland Movie
One day as I was walking, on a dark and dreary... err.. one day Bre and Elle had the idea randomly pop into their heads that a movie about Candyland would be awesomeriffic, naturally. So, next, they took it into their heads to plan it. This is when I was introduced along with a bunch of other people in our grade. We hope to start filming this summer, and I was assigned to writing the screenplay so I needs to get on that. So, that means you, Anna, my one reader, need to reply if you're going to be in it because there's about 1 role left :P

Butt-less Chaps
Don't let the name fool you or make you do a double take, I am actually going to blog about something related to butt-less chaps. So, today in Scripture, we were reading Corinthians and the question came up about why Paul tells the men to cut their hair. Apparently in Corinth men with long hair were effeminate and probably gay, so to avoid rumors going around that the Christians were a bunch of gays, he told them to cut their hair. Now, Mr. Baulsbaugh was looking for an analogy that could fit this into now-a-days, so he's like "It's like going into church with.. with.." and then I say really loudly "Butt-less chaps?" and as soon as I say it Mrs. O'hare walks in to get some books for her science class. I don't even want to know what she thinks we were talking about in our class. But, as a way of clearly things up, I think, Mr. Baulsbaugh says "Did you just say butt-less chaps in Scripture class?" and I'm like "Yeah, I think I did." So after many attempts to stop laughing and other people saying stuff like "Oh man, that's going in the yearbook", I finally managed to stop laughing and finish the rest of the class. Point is: that line is going down in history. Another great thing about Scripture; watching David Frank is probably one of the most entertaining things ever. Every so after he will stretch out his face and twitch, while shifting his glasses. Once I poked him with a pencil while he was sleeping in class, *accidentally* in the side of his stomach and he jumped half a foot and made a little grunting noise.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
..kick ass. A few months ago me and John got the first two seasons (of the original, not the Gecko one) and the three movies. And NOW the original Nintendo arcade game (which I used to be obsessed with when I was around 6 or 7) came out for Xbox Live Arcade. I've been playing it practically all day long. Ohhh the memories. *reminisces back to the days of getting super frustrated by Rocksteady and those damn robots that shock you*. Almost makes me want to jump along with Leonardo. I must say, however, the new movie looks pretty bad and I do not want to see it, but maybe I'll give it a chance.
